Rule 127A
Healthcare Award
(1) The Government of Nepal may give health service awards as follows to the employees of Nepal Health Service every year on the recommendation of the committee as per sub-rule (2):- Name of the award Amount Number
(a) Excellence in Healthcare Award One lakh rupees to one
person (b) Health service award fifty thousand rupees to four persons
(2) To recommend the award as per sub-rule (1), there will be the following committee:-
(a) Chief Secretary to the Government of Nepal – Chairman
(b) Secretary to the Ministry of General Administration – Member
(c) Secretary to the Ministry – Member
(d) Director General of Health Services Department – Member
(e) Twelfth level officer appointed by the Secretary of the Ministry - Member - Secretary
(3) The committee under sub-rule (2) shall select and recommend the health service personnel based on the following –
(a) Recommendation of the Department or Regional Directorate concerned,
(b) Performance Evaluation,
(c) Functionality and working efficiency,
(d) Seniority, conscientiousness, diligence and service rendered in remote areas.
